How do I book?
To book an appointment for a treatment with us, you can either call us on 01273 880025 or book through our booking system on the website. All appointments must be pre booked. Due to the pandemic, we are currently unable to accept walk ins.
Do I need a patch test?
There are some treatments that you will need to have a patch test for. These include: Tinting, lash lift and spray tan. We are not required to carry out a patch test for lash extensions, but if you would like one, this can be arranged. Patch tests need to be carried out 48 hours before your treatment. Treatments will not be able to go ahead without a patch test.

Is there parking?
There is free parking outside the salon on Ladies Mile Road, directly outside is up to 1 hour. If you need to park for longer, please use adjoining roads or further up ladies mile road. We encourage you to check parking signs.
Do you have any offers on?
We do run occasional offers, these will be advertised on social media. Add us on Facebook or Instagram to keep updated!
Is there an age limit on treatments?
Yes, some of our treatments do have a minimum age of 16. Please check before booking minors in for treatments at the salon.
Which facial should I book?
If you are unsure which facial treatment is best for you, feel free to give us a call and we can help you decide. You are also welcome to arrange to come and see one of our therapists for a quick consultation if you wish. Please call 01273 880025 to arrange this.
Can I bring someone with me?
Due to the pandemic, we are unable to allow anyone to attend your appointment with you, this unfortunately includes any children.
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Reschedules or cancellations will not be charged if we are notified 48 hours prior. If notice is less than 24 hours, or you do not show up, you will be charged at 50% your treatment cost. For exceptions, please see our cancellation policy.
Why do you need my personal details?
We need to store your personal details for insurance purposes, marketing (if you accept) and so we can keep records for future treatments.For more information, please see our privacy policy.
What stage of my pregnancy can I book pregnancy massage?
Pregnancy massage can only be offered after your first trimester. We will need to take you through a full consultation to ensure yours and your babies safety during treatment. For this reason, we are unable to offer massage to anyone who is experiencing a high risk pregnancy, or has had a high risk pregnancy previously. What’s the difference in the different types of wax you offer?
At Aura, we offer strip wax and hot wax.

Strip wax is more efficient on finer hair over large areas and hot wax is more suited to sensitive areas and coarser hair.

Bikini wax- section of hair removed up to bikini line.

Extended bikini – This takes away a little more hair from the sides than a standard bikini wax.

Brazilian – Often referred to as a landing strip, hair is removed, only leaving a thin strip of hair.

Hollywood – All pubic hair is removed.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we sell gift vouchers for treatments in £10, £20 or £50. Gift vouchers make a great present for birthdays, anniversaries, mother’s day, Christmas, or just because you care!Gift vouchers can be picked up from the salon, or posted to you. Please email or buy on our website.
